Leading IT and KPO solutions firm Syntel, Inc., has been named the top-rated BPO provider to the health insurance industry by The Black Book of Outsourcing.
Syntel was also rated among the top 20 BPO providers for the entire insurance industry. The Company was ranked as providing "overwhelming satisfaction" on several KPIs, including support and customer care; trust; client relationship; delivery excellence; and compensation and employee performance.
The selection process involved responses from over 2,800 insurance executives, who were asked to evaluate providers on 18 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
According to Syntel's President and COO, Keshav Murugesh, the findings reflect Syntel's strong focus on customer service and employee satisfaction. “Syntel has never taken a 'one size fits all' approach, and we work hard to ensure that our customers are not just experiencing gains in terms of speed and efficiency, but in their comfort level as well,” said Murugesh.
The findings were published in the 2008 Insurance industry ITO and BPO survey by The Black Book of Outsourcing, a comprehensive guide to the field of outsourcing developed and published by the Brown-Wilson Group.
