Leading IT services and BPO provider MphasiS has joined hands with Bharti Airtel to open a new 400-seat call centre in Ahmedabad aimed at delivering enhanced service quality to more than one million telecom customers in Central Gujarat.
The new center, locate at the Genda Circle in Vadodara, hopes to seat more than 2500 people over the next12 months with agents getting special training in languages, soft skills and call handling techniques, a press statement from MphasiS has said.
The new centre, which would function as an extension of the Ahmedabad call centre, aims to help MphasiS grow beyond the big cities and tap local talent in the smaller ones, said Milind Godbole, CDO of MphasiS BPO in the statement.
The new centre would help Bharti Airtel take care of the growing customer base in Gujarat for their cellular telephony brand across Gujarat. “The staff has been well trained on the various Airtel processes with the expertise of MphasiS so that they deliver a standard, consistent and delightful call centre for our customers", said Sharlin Thayil, COO of Bharti Airtel in Gujarat.
