BPO firm Genpact and pharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca has entered a contract for a period of five years. The contract says that the BPO firm will be providing finance and accounting services to AstraZeneca.

In a statement, Genpact said that its professionals will work in partnership with AstraZeneca’s finance team in order to improve the effectiveness of pharma firm’s finance and accounting processes.

Genpact, which currently provides its F&A services to around 80 global enterprises will deliver its service to over 50 countries through this multi-million dollar contract.

AstraZeneca Head (Global Transactional Finance), Graham Russell said that the pharma firm can reduce the cost of finance function by streamlining their business process and help them improve the effectiveness of the firm’s finance function in driving, measuring and reporting business performance.
