Wipro Infotech bags IT contract from Lodha Group

Bangalore, Friday, Jul 25, 2008: Wipro Infotech, a leading provider IT business services, has bagged a multi-crore contract from the Mumbai- based Lodha Group to initiate a long-term IT transformation project for the Mumbai-based real estate player.

The ten-year contract is valued at Rs 1.32 billion and would assist the Lodha Group in its focus on developing offices, campuses, SEZs and townships as part of efforts to consolidate its premier position in the real estate market.

The deal is part of the Lodha Group's efforts to leverage IT to keep pace with market growth and become more customer focussed in delivery. Wipro Infotech would bring in global standards of efficiencies and best practices to the group's IT functions.
